Long Lane Dental Practice is a friendly, modern, fully refurbished 3‑surgery cosmetic and general practice. We pride ourselves on delivering high‑quality care with a warm, personal touch. We are a supportive team of 3 dentists and 1 hygienist, and we’re looking for a qualified dental nurse who enjoys working in a well‑organised, patient‑focused environment.

Our services include:

General dentistry
Cosmetic treatments
Invisalign
Implants
Itero digital scanning
A brand‑new decontamination room

The Role :

General Dental Nursing Duties

You will be responsible for providing excellent chairside support and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day clinical operations. Duties include:

Assisting dentists and hygienists during all clinical procedures
Preparing and maintaining dental equipment, instruments, and materials
Following cross‑infection and decontamination protocols
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised surgery
Updating patient records and supporting clinicians with notes
Managing stock levels and ordering materials when required
Providing friendly, reassuring patient care
Supporting reception or admin tasks when needed
Ensuring compliance with practice policies and CQC standards

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on clinical work, teamwork, and delivering a great patient experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated nurse who wants to expand their skills and step into a more patient‑facing, communication‑focused role in the future.
