We are seeking an Asset Manager to provide strategic leadership for asset management across a contract, working within the framework of an ISO 55001-aligned asset management system.
This role is accountable for developing and maintaining the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP), setting asset management objectives, and applying a risk-based decision-making approach across the asset portfolio.
Job Description
We are looking for an individual who can ensure asset and maintenance data is accurately configured and maintained within a CAFM system.
This position plays a key role during contract mobilisation, requiring close collaboration with internal IT teams, procurement teams, and operational stakeholders to ensure the integrity, consistency, and usability of asset data.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain asset and maintenance data integrity and quality within the CAFM system
- Standardise data from multiple sources into a consistent structure
- Ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules are correctly aligned
- Associate job plans accurately with the correct assets
- Ensure the CAFM system delivers accurate maintenance information to relevant stakeholders
- Validate asset records and ensure maintenance data accuracy
- Support the migration and cleansing of historical data, including where source verification may be challenging
- Collaborate closely with internal IT teams, procurement, and operational stakeholders
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Knowledge of ISO 55001 asset management standards
- Experience working with CAFM systems
- Exposure to asset and maintenance data management
- Understanding of asset management principles
- Planning and scheduling experience
- Exposure to environments aligned with ISO 55001
- Strong attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability
- Ability to work across technical and operational teams, particularly during contract mobilisation
- Focus on data quality, consistency, and structured information management
Location & Travel
- UK-based role with flexibility on location
- Key sites include Basildon, Luton, Newcastle, Southampton, and Bristol
- Willingness to travel as required
