Full job description

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Gym Assistant and become a vital part of creating an energetic, welcoming environment for members to achieve their fitness goals. In this role, you will support gym operations, assist members with equipment and fitness programs, and promote a positive, motivating atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help foster a vibrant community dedicated to health and wellness. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in sports coaching, teaching, and fitness support while making a meaningful impact on members’ lives.

Duties

Greet members warmly and provide excellent customer service to enhance their gym experience
Lead group fitness classes to motivate participants
Clean and maintain gym equipment
Clean and maintain all areas of gym floor and other facilities
Preform member inductions
Serve members and visitors behind reception (till work)
Receiving and putting away of stock orders

Requirements

Level 2 fitness instructor
Good communication and people skills
Able to work in fast paced environment
Shifts can start from as early as 04:00AM and finish as late as 00:00AM so flexibility is a must
Able to work every other weekend

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
