Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Labourer to join our dynamic team on various building projects. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth progress of construction activities. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials.
- Support tradespeople such as roofers, plumbers, electricians, masons, and carpenters with their tasks.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Assist with the installation of roofing, plastering, masonry work, and other specialised tasks as required.
- Follow schematics and technical drawings to aid in fabrication and assembly processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by clearing debris and ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.
- Support with site logistics including moving materials and equipment around the site.
- Perform general labouring duties such as digging, lifting heavy materials (up to 40kg), and assisting with scaffolding or formwork when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience or familiarity with construction activities is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and basic construction techniques is desirable.
- Experience in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, plastering, fabrication, masonry or carpentry is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics or technical drawings is beneficial.
- Physically fit with good stamina to perform manual labour throughout the day.
- Strong team player with good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various roles within the construction site environment.

Pay: £12.21-£20.00 per hour
