Job Title: Clinical Coding Information Assurance Lead

Location: Bolton

Working Style: Hybrid

Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled Clinical Coding Lead to join their team. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality coding services.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately and timely coding of medical records using ICD-10 and OPCS4.
Resolving coding queries with clinicians and managing complex cases.
Collaborating with the Clinical Coding Management Team on coding operations, audits, and training programs.
Leading clinical coding team, improvement projects and enhancing documentation and data quality.
Mentoring and training junior coders and supporting professional development.

Qualifications:

National Clinical Coding Qualification (NCCQ) and Accredited Clinical Coder (ACC) status.
Experience in clinical coding, auditing, and training.
Strong understanding of clinical terminology, coding standards, and healthcare systems.

Skills:

Proactive, detail-oriented, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
