We are seeking an experienced Specialist Periodontist to join our esteemed dental practice, Courtrai House Dental & Implant Clinic in Henley-on-Thames (RG9 1DA).

Deliver high-quality periodontal diagnosis and treatment, applying advanced clinical judgement and evidence-based practice within a specialist setting

Undertake comprehensive periodontal assessments, including detailed examination, radiographic interpretation, and development of tailored treatment plans

Provide a full range of non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapies, including implant-related care, with a focus on clinical excellence and optimal patient outcomes

Work collaboratively with referring dentists and multidisciplinary teams to support seamless, patient-centred care pathways

Maintain exceptional clinical standards through accurate record-keeping, regulatory compliance, and active involvement in clinical governance and CPD
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience

Postgraduate qualification in Periodontology (MSc, MClinDent, or equivalent) with current GDC specialist registration

Demonstrable experience delivering high-quality periodontal care, with strong clinical competence across non-surgical and surgical procedures

Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary, evidence-based periodontal practice and treatment modalities

Excellent patient communication skills, with the ability to educate and support patients throughout their treatment journey

Strong understanding of clinical governance, infection control, and regulatory compliance, alongside proficient use of digital systems and practice technologies

Collaborative approach, with experience working effectively within multidisciplinary clinical teams
Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience within private or specialist practice, with confidence managing complex periodontal cases

Advanced clinical interest in implant-related care, regenerative techniques, and aesthetic periodontal procedures

Involvement in mentoring, clinical leadership, or supporting the development of junior colleagues

Active engagement in CPD, research, or professional advancement, demonstrating a commitment to clinical excellence

Commercial awareness and an understanding of practice performance and patient journey optimisation
