Workforce Scheduling Coordinator

Care Vision Solutions Ltd

£28,000–£32,000 per year | Full-time

We are looking for an experienced Workforce Scheduling Coordinator to join our busy and growing team.

You will be responsible for coordinating and managing rotas across a workforce of 100+ staff, ensuring services are appropriately staffed and responding quickly to sickness, cancellations, new packages and last-minute changes.

This is a fast-paced role that requires someone who is exceptionally organised, confident making decisions and able to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Creating and managing rotas for 100+ staff

- Coordinating staff availability and shift allocation

- Proactively identifying and filling rota gaps

- Managing sickness, cancellations and last-minute staffing changes

- Responding to urgent staffing requirements

- Communicating rota changes clearly with staff and management

- Ensuring appropriately experienced staff are allocated to services

- Maintaining accurate scheduling and staffing records

- Working closely with management to anticipate upcoming staffing requirements

What We're Looking For

Previous scheduling, rostering or rota management experience is essential.

You will need to be highly organised, confident working under pressure and comfortable managing a large number of staff and competing priorities.

You must also have:

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Good IT skills and confidence using scheduling systems and spreadsheets

- The ability to problem-solve and make decisions independently

- A flexible and proactive approach

- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

- An Enhanced DBS or willingness to undertake one

Working Pattern

This is a full-time position and includes working every other Saturday, with your working pattern arranged accordingly.

Due to the operational nature of our service, there may occasionally be circumstances where a support shift cannot be filled despite reasonable attempts to secure cover. In these situations, you may be required to provide direct support to ensure the service remains safely staffed.

This is an occasional requirement and is not the primary function of the role.

Salary

£28,000–£32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
