We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Waitress to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service to customers both at the counter and at tables.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling light snacks or baked goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including coffee machines, counters, and dining spaces.
- Provide friendly and attentive service, addressing customer enquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations at all times.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the establishment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or waitress is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
- Ability to serve customers courteously while maintaining efficiency during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour.
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required.
