Relief Pharmacist – Independent Community Pharmacy
Location: Broughty Ferry & DundeeHours: Flexible – 2 to 5 days per week
We are looking for a motivated and patient-focused Relief Pharmacist to join our friendly independent community pharmacy team, providing cover across our two branches in Broughty Ferry and Dundee.
This is a flexible role, offering between 2 and 5 working days per week, making it ideal for pharmacists seeking work-life balance while enjoying the variety of working across two supportive pharmacy teams.
About the Role
As our Relief Pharmacist, you will:
- Provide safe, effective, and professional pharmaceutical care across both pharmacy locations.
- Deliver NHS and private pharmacy services in line with current regulations and professional standards.
- Support and advise patients on medicines, minor ailments, and healthy living.
- Work collaboratively with experienced pharmacy teams to ensure excellent patient care.
- Build strong relationships with local GP practices and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the continued development of clinical services.
The Dundee branch operates with double pharmacist cover, providing excellent peer support and opportunities for collaboration.

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Has excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.
- Is patient-focused, approachable, and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Is adaptable and comfortable working across two pharmacy locations.
- Shares our commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
An Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification is preferred. However, we are happy to support the right candidate through their IP training, including providing access to a Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP).
