Casework Coordinator

Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland (Hybrid)

Salary: £25,269 to £27,498 per annum, pro rata

Hours: 35 per week

Contract: Fixed term contract (until 31st March 2028, with the possibility of extension subject to funding)

As a Casework Coordinator, you’ll deliver vital support to refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants across the UK. You’ll help people navigate complex systems, access their rights, and rebuild their lives. You’ll play a key role in shaping and improving services that truly matter. What will a day in the life of a Casework Coordinator involve?

Providing advocacy on welfare, housing, health and asylum support.
Coordinating destitution and practical support services.
Supporting and managing volunteers to contribute to the delivery of high-quality casework services, as this area of work develops.
Building relationships with external partners to ensure holistic support for service users.

To be a successful Casework Coordinator, what will you need?

Experience delivering casework to vulnerable clients, ideally within refugee or asylum contexts.
Strong communication skills, including working with interpreters and diverse communities.
The ability to manage volunteers and work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
Knowledge of asylum seekers’ rights and entitlements, and how to advocate effectively.
