Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in assembly processes. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling components and systems in accordance with specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the production process.
The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for the following:
- Studying and interpreting technical documents, such as technical drawings, schematics and diagrams required to complete tasks.
- Reading and confirming the parts list, interpret measurements and verify specifications.
- Determining availability of materials and tools.
- Assembling components and ensuring that all parts are fitted correctly.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing repairs.
- Performing preventive maintenance and reporting and resolving assembly line issues.
- Keeping the workspace clean.
- Adhering to health and safety requirements of the company and the industry.
- Conserving resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste
Skills required:
- Exceptional hand-eye coordination and physical condition
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing or sitting for extended periods
- Ability to use hand tools and machinery
- Ability to lift at least 23 kilograms
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing quality control regulations
- Excellent eyesight, including depth perception and the ability to differentiate between colours
- At least 2 years previous experience in a similar Assembly role
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
