We’re looking for a great cabinetmaker / bench joiner to join our growing workshop team at Collins Bespoke.
We design and manufacture high-end bespoke kitchens, fitted furniture, dressing rooms, boot rooms and individual pieces of cabinetry. Our projects vary considerably, so we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys making quality furniture rather than simply producing the same thing every day.
The person we're looking for
You'll be an experienced cabinetmaker or bench joiner who can:
- Manufacture high-quality bespoke cabinetry
- Work confidently with MDF, veneered boards, MFC and solid timber
- Produce cabinetry accurately and efficiently Work independently as well as part of a workshop team
- Maintain a very high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Take pride in the finished product
Experience in high-end kitchens, fitted furniture, furniture making or bespoke joinery would be particularly valuable.
Read and work accurately from production drawings
Our workshop combines traditional cabinetmaking skills with modern production methods, including CNC machining, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable working within a modern furniture manufacturing environment.
What matters to us
We're not simply looking for someone with "joiner" on their CV.
We're looking for someone who can make beautiful cabinetry, understands what a high-end finish looks like and, importantly, can work at a sensible commercial pace.
Salary
£32,000–£38,000 per year, depending on experience and ability.
We're prepared to pay towards the top end for an experienced cabinetmaker who can demonstrate both excellent workmanship and strong productivity.
