Full job description

Dental Receptionist

Location: Wigmore Dental Practice, ME8 0PX
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00am–5:00pm; Friday, 8:00am–2:30pm
Employment Type: [Full-time/Permanent]

We are looking for an experienced and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing a warm, professional and welcoming experience while supporting the smooth running of the practice.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming and checking in patients in a friendly and professional manner
Managing appointments, cancellations and patient enquiries
Answering telephone calls and responding to patient queries
Taking payments and handling administrative duties
Maintaining accurate patient records
Liaising with clinicians and supporting the wider dental team
Providing excellent customer service at all times
Ensuring the reception area is organised and welcoming

About You

Previous experience working as a Dental Receptionist is essential.

We are looking for someone who is:

Friendly, approachable and professional
Confident communicating with patients and colleagues
Organised with excellent attention to detail
Reliable and able to work well as part of a team
Comfortable working in a busy dental practice environment
Experienced in dental reception and practice administration

Experience using Software of Excellence dental software is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.
