Full job description

At BrookStreet our Nights Team plays a key role in our operations. Picking, packing and correctly preparing the orders that will be sent out to our customers is a vital part of our business and we are now looking for the right person to fit our team.

Being a night shift, it brings it's own challenges and as a business we understand that and work with our team to ensure they always feel supported and have all the tools to be the best at their job. Experience is a must, however, full training will be provided.

The right candidate will report directly to our Nights Manager and find in him all the answers and support needed.

The main responsibilities of our Warehouse Operatives are:

Picking and Packing customer orders ready for dispatch
Loading and Unloading vehicles (Forklift training can be provided)
Stock replenishment
Manual handling of stock (heavy lifting will be required with this role)
Ensure that stock is suitably rotated.
General housekeeping of the Warehouse
Ensure compliance to the Company and legislative Health & Safety standards

Our ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in a Warehouse or Production environment and be used to adhere to tight timelines
Experience using warehouse management systems (desirable)
Be physically fit and active as there is some heavy lifting involved
Ability to work under ambient and cold conditions as Freezer and Chiller work is required
Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Valid FLT licence, with experience operating (advantageous).
