Intelligence team and help design, automate and enhance the reporting and data solutions that keep our business moving forward.
This role is ideal for someone who has already built a strong technical foundation and now wants to broaden their impact. Youll work across data warehousing, ETL, SQL
development, MI reporting and automation, while gaining exposure to strategic projects, senior stakeholders and business-critical decision-making.

What youll be doing:
Working as part of the BI team, you will:
- Develop and enhance data warehousing solutions that support changing business and client needs.
- Build, maintain and optimise automated ETL processes and data workflows.
- Use SQL and T-SQL to create reliable, efficient and scalable data solutions.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into meaningful MI, dashboards, reports and automated outputs.
- Analyse and improve existing queries, reporting processes and data models to increase performance and accuracy.
- Support project-led BI development, contributing to design, build, testing, delivery and ongoing improvement.
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Champion data quality, automation and best practice to reduce manual effort and improve scalability.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to encourage effective use of BI across the business.
- Take ownership of your conduct and behaviours, aligned to the BW Way and wider business objectives.
What were looking for:
Were looking for someone who is technically strong, eager to keep learning and ready to grow their influence. Youll be comfortable working with data, confident solving
problems and motivated by creating BI solutions that make information clearer, faster and more useful.
Essential:
- Commercial experience using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, typically around three years or more.
- Strong T-SQL skills, including query development, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
- A good understanding of ETL, automated data processing and workflow orchestration.
- Experience working with data warehousing, extraction, transformation and integration.
- Ability to turn requirements into practical, well-structured BI solutions.
- A collaborative approach, strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in continuous improvement.
Desirable:
- A degree in a relevant subject such as Maths, Physics, Computer Science or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience using Python or similar tools to support data automation and development.
- Working knowledge of data warehouse design and implementation.
- Experience with Power BI or similar tools for reporting, dashboards and self-service insight.

Our BI team is collaborative, ambitious and focused on building data solutions that make a measurable difference. Youll work across the full BI lifecycle, from understanding
requirements and building solutions through to delivery, enhancement and continuous improvement.

Working hours and salary:
Your working week will be 7 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.00pm. We can be flexible on agreed start time, and there may be times when additional hours are
needed to support the team and meet business needs. Any extra hours worked would be paid as overtime.
Starting salary from £33,000 +, depending on experience. We also welcome more experienced candidates to apply, and you will also benefit from annual salary reviews which
