REPORTING TO: Spa Therapy Manager
HOURS: Full Time (4-5 days) based on 4/5 days out of 7, including weekend work. Shift patterns 9.45 am-6.45 pm. Subsidized bus transport upon request within Ballymena.
LOCATION: Galgorm (Ballymena).
SALARY: £13.92-£17.92 per hour -Payscale

About the role:
The main responsibilities for this position are to work as an experienced massage therapist and member of a friendly and professional team and to deliver a high standard of treatment and customer service to all Spa guests and members.
Job Description:
The main duties involve but are not limited to;
- Ensuring that guests/members receive a warm and friendly welcome, provide privacy and focus on exceeding their expectations every time.
- Performing massages and facials to our guests and members delivering a high standard of treatments.
- Achieving individual sales targets on spa products.
- Delivering outstanding customer service and dealing with queries effectively through offering professional advice on products and treatments available.
- Observing statutory compliance including all Healthworks-related Health & Safety obligations which your manager may identify to you and ensuring you work within agreed regulations by completing registration/consultation cards for every client.
The Person:
Essential Criteria, applicants must have;
- An NVQ level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Beauty Therapy.
- A proven track record of exceeding retail sales targets and delivering outstanding customer service within the beauty industry.
- The ability to demonstrate your initiative and have a compassionate, intuitive, caring, and sensitive understanding of clients’ needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of working within a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience or an interest in the Hospitality industry.
- High standards and the ability to grow and develop others around you and pass on your knowledge.
Desirable;
- 1-2 years of experience working in a similar spa environment.
- Experience in advanced skin treatments.
