Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Fabricator/Welders to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for fabricating and welding components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards and safety protocols are maintained.
Orbis manufacture various products, ranging from DNV offshore modules, subsea structures, tooling and pipe spools.
Duties
- Fabricate metal components
- Assemble parts and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and resolve any issues that arise during production.
- Welding Experience Required
Skills
- Proficient in welding techniques, particularly MIG welding.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Experience in fabricating metal components and assembling structures.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £18.50-£20.00 per hour
