We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated night team at Abivale Veterinary Group on a full-time, 13-month fixed-term contract plus a £2000 welcome bonus.

Our dedicated night team works closely with our day teams and referring practices, creating a collaborative environment where every member’s skills and input are valued.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

46.5 hours per week

5 nights on, followed by 5 nights off

Monday to Thursday, 6:45pm to 7:45am, Friday, 6:45pm to 8:00am, Saturday, 6:00pm to 9:00am, Sunday, 6:00pm to 7:45am

Full-time, 13-month fixed-term contract, night shift position

General Responsibilities

Deliver gold-standard emergency and critical care to hospitalised patients

Support veterinary surgeons with a varied and often unpredictable caseload

Provide excellent inpatient care, monitoring and patient recovery support

Work confidently and calmly during emergency situations
