Full job description

The British Ironwork Centre is seeking an experienced and proactive Admin Operational Lead, spanning all depts, across two separate sites.

The role will be concerned with the admin synergy and how all depts smoothly cross administrate, embracing and on-boarding new systems including any new Ai possibilities, bringing about greater efficiencies company wide.

Confident communication skills essential, upholding standards across depts, with all heads of depts reporting and updating directors in a timely and reliable fashion.

Ensuring cooperation and support is being maintained between depts, that departments remain aligned and that the sharing of information and accessibility of performance information is at its fullest.

Primary Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations across the site, ensuring efficiency and organisation within all admin functions
Support and coordinate administrative teams across all offices, departments and warehouse operations
Ensure clear communication and smooth information flow between departments
Monitor administrative processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and collaboration across teams
Act as a central point of coordination to ensure departments remain aligned and supported
Assist with HR-related administrative support where required, including communication, documentation and internal coordination
Help senior management stay informed on operational admin matters and departmental needs

We’d Love to Meet Someone Who:

Has experience in an Operational Admin Coordination role or similar leadership role
Is highly organised and able to oversee multiple administration elements
Is confident communicating with colleagues across different areas of a business
Has strong problem-solving skills and can identify ways to improve processes
Thrives in a busy, fast-moving environment
Is proactive, supportive and focused on maintaining a positive workplace harmony
