Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostics on various white goods appliances using schematics and technical manuals to identify faults accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on household appliances, including mechanical components, electrical systems, and control boards.
- Lead small teams or assist in training junior technicians on proper repair techniques and safety protocols.
- Install, service, and troubleshoot air conditioning systems and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to guide repair procedures efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and diagnostics performed for each job.
- Adhere to safety standards and best practices during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in appliance repair or maintenance with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting guides for household appliances.
- Demonstrated leadership skills or experience mentoring junior team members is preferred.
- Hands-on experience repairing equipment such as washing machines, refrigerators, ovens, or air conditioning units.
- Construction experience or background in building maintenance is advantageous for understanding installation procedures.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, especially air conditioning units, is highly desirable.
- Strong commitment to routine maintenance practices and equipment upkeep to prevent future issues.
