We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling, barbering, and customer service, with the ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to the overall success of our salon. The Senior Hair Stylist will be responsible for providing high-quality hair treatments, managing client relationships, and supporting store operations to ensure a welcoming and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of hair styling services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments.
- Perform barbering services with precision and attention to detail.
- Provide personalised consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
- Mentor and support junior stylists, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Assist with store management duties such as organising appointments and maintaining salon standards.
- Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
- Upsell products and services effectively to maximise client experience and salon revenue.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling enquiries with excellent communication skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and salon areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, and colour techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Experience in store management or supervisory roles is desirable.
- Proficiency in eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty treatments is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Demonstrated upselling skills to promote products and additional services confidently.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
