Full job description

Yardman (Telehandler) - Portishead

MadiganGill are currently recruiting for an experienced Yardman to join a long-term project in Portishead. This is an excellent opportunity to secure 12 months of work with an immediate start.

Location: Portishead
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: £22.00 per hour

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
7:30am - 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities

Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently around site.
Managing and organising the site yard, ensuring it remains clean, tidy, and safe.
Loading, unloading, and moving materials to designated areas.
Assisting with deliveries and checking materials as they arrive on site.
Supporting trades by distributing materials as required.
Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any faults or defects.
Following all site health and safety procedures at all times.
Undertaking general yard duties and assisting the site team where required.

Requirements

Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
Previous experience working in a Yardman or Telehandler role on construction sites.
Full PPE, including high-visibility clothing.
A strong understanding of site health and safety.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
