Total Motor Care is looking for an experienced Vehicle Panel Beater to join our friendly and professional team at our BSI BS 10125 accredited accident repair centre in Sandwich, Kent.
This role is ideal for a skilled panel beater who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and consistently works to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out panel repairs and replacements in line with Thatcham and manufacturer repair methods.
- Complete repairs efficiently and within allocated job times.
- Follow current repair techniques, procedures and safety standards.
- Carry out plastic repairs where required.
- Accurately assess repair requirements and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of the wider bodyshop team.
- Help maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate should have
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Panel Beater within an accident repair centre or bodyshop.
- Strong knowledge of modern panel repair and replacement techniques.
- Experience following Thatcham and manufacturer repair methods.
- Experience carrying out plastic repairs.
- The ability to work efficiently while maintaining excellent quality standards.Good attention to detail and pride in their workmanship.
- An ATA accreditation or NVQ Level 3 qualification is desirable.
