Overview

We are seeking passionate Head Pizza Chef to lead our kitchen team in crafting exceptional pizzas using a classic wood fire oven. This pivotal role combines culinary mastery with team leadership, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service. As the driving force behind our pizza kitchen, you will inspire creativity with weekly specials, oversee daily operations, and uphold a vibrant, efficient kitchen environment. Your expertise will set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience that keeps customers coming back for more!

Duties

Lead and supervise all aspects of pizza preparation and cooking, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish served
Manage and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and high performance
Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper storage procedures to maintain compliance with health regulations
Develop innovative pizza recipes and menu offerings that excite our guests and reflect current culinary trends
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery and timely food presentation
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize kitchen efficiency
Conduct regular training sessions on food preparation techniques, safety practices, and customer service excellence

Skills

Proven managerial experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive food production and culinary experience specializing in pizza making and general kitchen operations
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
Expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and maintaining high standards of quality
Solid kitchen experience with knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
Leadership qualities that inspire confidence, accountability, and a positive work environment
Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and management
Experience in restaurant operations, serving customers, and delivering exceptional hospitality service
