- Develop layouts and schemes for composite assemblies, ensuring optimal design and functionality

Create detailed CAD models and drawings of composite components

Creation of CAD models and drawings of composite tooling

Prepare comprehensive manufacturing information for composite production processes, including materials, techniques, and quality standards

Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure effective communication and implementation of design specifications

Provide guidance and supervision to Graduate Designers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality work
Requirements
What do we need from you?
-
Previous experience in Formula 1® or Top-Tier motorsport is essential
-
Proven experience in a composite design role, including the design of bodywork, wings, bumpers, and interior components within the motorsport industry, is required
-
Proficiency in CAD software, preferably CATIA 3DX, with a proven track record of producing accurate and efficient designs

A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering) or equivalent

Knowledge of composite component design, composite materials and their properties; knowledge or experience of composites manufacture

Ability to plan and manage own workloads, prioritizing in a time pressured environment and manage personal deadlines

Clear and concise communication

Self-motivated, innovative, and comfortable working independently, while meeting challenging deadlines

Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.)
