Full job description

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Customer Service Team Leader to lead our Building Drainage Customer Service team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to combine people leadership with hands-on operational management, helping to drive service excellence, commercial performance and continuous improvement across the business.

About the role

As Customer Service Team Leader, you will lead, coach and develop a team responsible for delivering exceptional support to our customers. You will play a key role in ensuring customer enquiries, quotations and orders are managed efficiently while building strong customer relationships and supporting business growth.

Working closely with internal teams including Sales, Estimating, Design, Planning and Purchasing, you'll help create a seamless customer journey while identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance service levels and increase quote conversion.

About you

We're looking for someone who can inspire others while remaining customer-focused and commercially aware.

You'll ideally have:

Experience leading or supervising a customer service, sales support or commercial administration team.
A strong background within a B2B customer service environment.
Excellent communication and people management skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Experience using CRM and ERP systems.
The ability to analyse performance data and identify improvement opportunities.
A proactive, collaborative and solution-focused approach.
Strong commercial awareness and customer-centric thinking.

Knowledge of the construction industry or Building Drainage market would be advantageous but is not essential.
