Job Overview

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled.
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction.
Ensure food safety standards are followed during food preparation, serving, and handling.
Check in with guests regularly to ensure their needs are met and address any concerns promptly.
Assist in setting up dining areas, refilling supplies, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills while maintaining excellent guest service.

Experience

Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred ; enthusiasm for learning is most valued.
Familiarity with serving procedures, food safety regulations, and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for engaging with guests confidently.
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for billing and order management.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills.
Knowledge of culinary concepts or kitchen experience can be a plus for understanding menu items and food handling procedures.
A commitment to delivering outstanding guest services with a positive attitude is vital for success in this role.
