Stores / Yard person and Driver required.
We are looking to recruit a physically fit and active person to help out with the day to day stores / yard work and driving. We estimate that the role will be 60% yard based and 40% driving. Driving will be a long wheel base curtain sider van with pallet truck carrying out both local and London based deliveries so experience would be an advantage. There will be early morning deliveries to the London area two or three times a week with 5am starts
Responsibilities' will include:
Collections and deliveries, maintenance of fleet (with assistance) keeping the stores, yard and workshop; clean, tidy, weed free and in good condition. Helping out loading vehicles, unloading, driving forklift (training provided) and providing assistance in the workshop with manufacturing and assembling
Good time keeping, self motivation, time planning, personal presentation and client facing skills are Vital.
Own transport will be necessary as our workshop is not close to any public transport
Basic 40hrs per week but with early mornings as required on top.
Clean driving licence required
