We are seeking a General Builder or Bricklayer to join our team in the United Kingdom. This role is vital in helping us achieve our goal of expanding our building capabilities and maintaining excellent standards across all projects. The successful candidate will be based in North London and contribute to our company's growth and reputation.
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools, masonry skills, and power tools to complete building tasks efficiently.
- Lay bricks and blocks with precision to ensure structural integrity.
- install steels where necessary
- Assist in various aspects of masonry, carpentry as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes.
- Support welding tasks if required, adhering to safety standards.
- Setting out accurately from drawings.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, or general building work.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures.
- Knowledge reading drawings and understanding them.
- Knowledge of roofing and carpentry is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
