Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Sports Massage Therapist and become a vital contributor to athletes’ and active individuals’ recovery and performance! In this energetic role, you will deliver targeted massage therapy sessions designed to enhance flexibility, reduce muscle tension, and promote overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their fitness goals, recover faster from injuries, and maintain peak physical condition. Duties

Perform professional sports massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs, focusing on muscle recovery, flexibility, and injury prevention
Assess clients’ physical condition through consultation and anatomical knowledge to develop effective treatment plans
Educate clients on post-massage care, stretching routines, and injury prevention techniques
Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and session notes for future reference
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols
Stay current with the latest massage techniques and sports therapy practices through ongoing education
Collaborate with other wellness professionals to optimize client outcomes and promote holistic health

Requirements

Proven experience as a massage therapist with a focus on sports or active populations preferred
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology essential for effective treatment planning
Certification from a recognized massage therapy program or licensing authority required
Excellent communication skills to clearly explain techniques and provide motivational guidance
Ability to work independently while managing multiple clients in a fast-paced environment
