At FIFTH Movement, our mission is to build healthier, happier communities by inspiring children to develop a lifelong love for movement, sport, and wellbeing.
We work in partnership with primary schools to deliver high-quality Physical Education, extra-curricular clubs, and holiday programmes that make a lasting impact.
We are a growing organisation with high standards, clear values, and an ambitious vision. We're looking for people who want to be part of that journey.
We're seeking a PE & Sport Educator to deliver outstanding Physical Education across our partner primary schools.
This is a full-time, year-round role that includes curriculum delivery during term time alongside our holiday camp programmes.
We're not looking for someone who simply turns up, delivers a session, and heads home. We want an educator who takes ownership, becomes a valued part of each school community, builds meaningful relationships, and is passionate about helping children develop a genuine love for movement.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering curriculum PE to EYFS, KS1, and KS2 pupils, including multi-sports, dance, and gymnastics.
- Running engaging before and after-school clubs that children look forward to attending.
- Leading our Active Camps programmes during the school holidays.
- Building strong relationships with school staff—you won't be seen as a visitor, but as part of the school team.
- Adapting lesson plans to meet the needs of the children in front of you. You'll have the framework, but you'll bring it to life.
- Completing half-termly assessments to accurately monitor and report on children's progress.
- Reflecting on every session to identify what worked well and what could be improved.
- Keeping your line manager and wider team informed through clear, proactive communication.
Who We're Looking For
Technical ability is important, but it's only part of the picture. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates proactively, works independently, and builds genuine connections with children and school staff. If you're looking for a role where you simply clock in and clock out, this probably isn't the right fit.
You'll be:
- Accountable – taking ownership of your sessions, relationships, and responsibilities.
- Adaptable – seeing lesson plans as a guide, not a script.
- A strong communicator – with children, teachers, parents, and colleagues.
- Reflective – continually reviewing and improving your practice.
- Passionate – believing in the value of physical literacy and the positive impact it has on children's lives.
- Professional – representing FIFTH Movement to the highest standard every day.
Essential Requirements
- PE or Sports Coaching degree.
- Level 2 NGB Coaching Qualification (minimum).
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable
- PESS Level 5 qualification.
- Paediatric First Aid certificate.
- Safeguarding training.
What You'll Get
- Ongoing CPD opportunities to develop your skills and progress your career.
- Genuine opportunities for progression within a growing organisation—we're committed to promoting from within.
- A supportive team that works hard, shares high standards, and backs one another.
We're building something for the long term.
We're not looking for someone who simply wants a job—we're looking for someone who wants to contribute to something meaningful, take ownership of their role, and grow with us.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
