Senior Administrator (Part-Time)

21 Hours per Week | Clarendon Lodge Medical Practice | Leamington Spa

Are you an experienced administrator looking for a rewarding part-time role with a supportive team and excellent work-life balance?

At Clarendon Lodge Medical Practice , we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Senior Administrative Assistant to join our friendly and patient-focused surgery team.

This is a varied and important role at the heart of our practice, supporting both patients and clinical staff while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the surgery.

About the Role

This part-time position offers 21 hours per week, typically worked across three days, with core hours between 9:30am and 4/5pm — providing excellent flexibility and work-life balance.

Our preferred working days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, although there may be some flexibility for the right candidate.

The role offers a starting salary of £13.15 per hour, reviewed following successful completion of probation. You will also become eligible for our bonus scheme.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing day-to-day administrative operations within the practice
Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with a range of administrative duties
Handling patient enquiries professionally via phone, email and in person
Managing appointment scheduling, patient records and correspondence
Maintaining accurate medical and administrative databases
Preparing reports, letters and documentation for healthcare providers and regulatory bodies
Coordinating with external suppliers and service providers
Supporting and mentoring junior administrative staff
Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies at all times

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

Experienced in administration, ideally within healthcare or a medical setting
Friendly, professional and confident communicating with patients and colleagues
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic record systems
Proactive, adaptable and solution-focused
Able to handle confidential information with discretion

Knowledge of medical terminology or healthcare procedures would be an advantage, but is not essential.
