Full job description

Do you enjoy picking up the phone and making things happen?
Do you want a sales role where you generate your own business – not wait around for leads?
Are you looking for a proper earning opportunity with no moving goalposts?

This is a full-time, permanent sales role focused on generating new business across telecoms, VoIP, and connectivity solutions.

Working pattern & location

Office-based (with flexibility for the right person)
Birmingham location
Focus on building presence and energy in the office environment

What you can expect (earnings & growth)

Basic salary up to £35,000 (depending on experience)
Uncapped commission (higher earnings available for strong performers)
Transparent targets from day one – no shifting goalposts
Real opportunity to grow as the business scales its VoIP platform

What you’ll actually be doing
This is a 360, self-generating sales role. You’ll be trusted to go out and win new business, not rely on hand-fed opportunities.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

Generating your own new business through outbound activity (calls, outreach, networking)
Working high-volume outbound activity (e.g. calls, meetings, follow-ups)
Booking and attending meetings with potential customers
Selling telecoms, VoIP and broadband solutions into organisations (including education)
Managing your own pipeline from first contact through to close
Occasionally handling inbound leads or allocated opportunities (but not relying on them)
Building long-term relationships with customers

What we’re looking for
You don’t need to come directly from telecoms – but you do need to know how to generate business.

Ideally, you’ll:

Have experience in a sales role where you’ve generated your own leads
Be confident making outbound calls and building a pipeline from scratch
Be driven, resilient and comfortable working to activity-based targets
Have a “get on with it” attitude – someone who just gets things done
Be happy working in an office environment and contributing to team energy

Nice to have (but not essential):

Experience in telecoms, VoIP, broadband
Experience selling into the public sector
Exposure to security/alarm systems
