Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PHP Laravel Developer to join our well-established and growing web business. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented developer with a strong background in Laravel, Microsoft CRM development, and general IT support.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining our web applications while also providing support across our IT infrastructure, including software and hardware. This is a varied role that combines hands-on software development with practical IT responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
Develop, customise, and support Microsoft CRM solutions and integrations.
Maintain and improve existing applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues efficiently.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Provide day-to-day IT support across the business, including software installation, hardware troubleshooting, and user support.
Produce and maintain technical documentation.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.

Essential Skills & Experience

Minimum of 5 years' commercial experience developing with PHP and Laravel.
Strong knowledge of Laravel architecture, REST APIs, and modern development practices.
Proven experience developing and supporting Microsoft CRM (Dynamics CRM) solutions.
Solid understanding of MySQL and database design.
Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience providing IT support across software, hardware, and desktop environments.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Desirable Skills

Experience with Microsoft Azure.
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
Experience with cloud-hosted applications and services.
