We're looking for 2 Network General Duties Assistants to join our team based at our Cranbrook site in Exeter. This role will initially be on a 3-month secondment with potential to be extended up to 12 months. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as general duties assistant in The South West. As a GDA, you will be responsible for visiting client sites to accurately record data and create documentation. Some low level mechanical/electrical/Civils experience would be beneficial, however full training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with good computer skills.
- General housekeeping and stock control within Energy Centres

Document control for legal compliance checks in Energy Centres and substations.

Create asset list with consumable parts and work orders via Microsoft Dynamics.

Visit residential, commercial, and industrial properties, to carryout site inspections,contractor inspections, provide AE support where applicable.

Maintain professionalism and respect privacy while interacting with clients and customers.

Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while performing duties.

Maintain accurate records of completed work and submit them promptly via MSD.

Support with underground civils works including deep excavations works.

Assist with trench support systems under direction.

Carry out backfilling and reinstatement works

Work in public highways (non-motorway) and private land

Setup safe working sites in live traffic areas including fencing, barriers, signage, and SLG.

Oversee and manage 3rd party contractors when onsite and ensure compliance.

Collate and report on investigation works, using digital tooling

Co-ordinate and plan with Customer service any interruptions to service

Provide support within Energy Centres when required to carry out PPM tasks on assets.

Able to repair or reconfigure pipework inside and outside of Energy Centres.

Carry out proactive maintenance tasks on all assets across all areas.
