Swim Central Preston

Swim Central Preston has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, creative, and motivated Swimming Teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality lessons and supporting progression through our structured swimming programme.

Working in a comfortable and welcoming environment, successful applicants will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to children and adults of varying ages and abilities. There will also be opportunities to increase your hours on both a permanent and flexible basis.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality swim lessons to individuals and groups of all ages and abilities
Plan and deliver structured lessons tailored to swimmers’ needs
Provide a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment
Demonstrate correct swimming techniques and provide constructive feedback
Monitor pool safety and swimmer wellbeing at all times
Maintain accurate attendance and progress records

Qualifications & Requirements

Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods for different learning styles and abilities
Must be able to pass a background check

Essential (one of the following):

ASA / Swim England Level 2
STA Level 2 Award or Certificate
Level 2 Baby and Pre-School Qualification

Pay: From £17.00 per hour
