Description

General Dynamics Land Systems is on the look-out for a full time Fabricator Welder to join our Manufacturing Team. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn up to £16.86 per hour based on experience and potential. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally.
Joining an established team based at our Merthyr facility, you will work across a range of stakeholders to carry out both light and heavy fabrications across a variety of materials including steels and aluminium.

To apply for this role, you will require the following:

9606-1 – TIG process ,multi joint and multi positional in high strength steels valid certification.
Ability to weld aluminium.
Level 2 NDT liquid penetrant inspection certification, CSWIP or PCN.
Ability to multi-task.
Team worker.
Clear communicator.
Analytical mind, with a problem solving ethic.
Enthusiastic.
Ability to develop and adhere to best practice/process/policy.
Customer service focus.
