Long-Distance HGV Class 1 (CE) Lorry Driver

Location: Dundee, Scotland
Salary: £35,000–£50,000 per year (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a dependable and professional long distance Class 1 (CE) HGV Driver to join our transport team. This role involves long-distance deliveries throughout the UK, ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and on time.

If you have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to customer service, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Complete long-distance deliveries and collections across the UK.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
Ensure loads are secured safely and transported in line with legal requirements.
Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
Follow all road transport regulations, drivers' hours rules, and company procedures.
Maintain a professional and courteous manner with customers.

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence.
Driver CPC qualification.
Digital Tachograph Card.
Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
A reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work.
Previous long-distance driving experience is preferred but not essential.
