Full job description

Forestry & Firewood Operative

Timberheat is looking for a reliable, hardworking and practical person to join our team.

We are a busy firewood and forestry business supplying quality, locally sourced firewood to customers across the area.

The Role

The successful applicant will be involved in a variety of work, including:

Firewood processing and preparation
Forestry and woodland work
Operating machinery and equipment
Loading, stacking and handling timber
Deliveries and assisting with customer orders
General yard and site work
Keeping equipment, machinery and work areas clean and tidy

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

Reliable and hardworking
Practical and willing to get stuck in
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Safety-conscious
A full UK driving licence is preferred
Experience with forestry, firewood, machinery or plant is an advantage, but training can be provided for the right person
