Full job description

We are recruiting for General Catering Assist and driver for a varied role ideally with experience in cooking breakfasts sandwich preparation & baking pasties in a busy cafe & takaway environment . A full driving licence is essential as you will be delivering business lunches. The hours are Monday to Sunday between the hours of 6am - 4.30 on a rota system. Ideally 2-5 days a week and with some additional holiday & sickness cover. Hours can be discussed at interview but would ideally be a minimum of 26 hours a week but additional or less hours are available subject you your experience and flexibility.

Main role would include:

- Prepare Hot Breakfasts, Baps, Sandwiches, Baps & Baguettes

- Baking Pasties.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality
- Assemble sandwiches, wraps, baps, baguettes & pasta pots with attention to detail and presentation
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Adhere to Food Safety Standards & Policies
- Assist with other food preparation tasks as needed

-Deliver Business lunches and cover our snack vans

Experience
- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of Food Safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

-Reliability is very important for this position

Job Type: Part-time minimum of 16 hrs possible full time

Pay: starting at a minimum of £12.75 per hour but a higher rate is available subject to experience.
