Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Barista/All Rounder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent time management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes.
- Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures during preparation and serving.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies; assist in ordering when necessary.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring satisfaction with their experience.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous barista or coffee experience preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques is highly desirable
