HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights

Pilgrim Foodservice is an independent, family-run foodservice wholesaler supplying fresh, chilled, frozen, grocery and non-food products to hospitality customers across the UK. We serve customers across 17 counties and pride ourselves on reliability, quality and long-term relationships.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (Category C+E) to join our night operation based in Boston. This role is primarily focused on trunking between our depots, offering consistent work, regular routes and minimal manual handling.

5 nights per week (Sunday–Friday rota)

As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you will play a key role in keeping our distribution network moving. Most shifts involve straightforward trunking runs between Pilgrim Foodservice depots with limited customer interaction and only occasional unloading.
Typical responsibilities include:

Driving Class 1 (Category C+E) articulated vehicles safely and professionally

Completing trunking runs between Pilgrim Foodservice depots

Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects

Ensuring compliance with Driver CPC, tachograph and driver hours regulations

Assisting with unloading at depot when required

Supporting additional deliveries when needed

A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence
