Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician / Electrical Improver to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a professional environment, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure. The position requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Assist in installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards
Use hand tools and power tools to perform electrical tasks efficiently and accurately
Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs
Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
Assist with testing electrical systems to verify proper operation before completion of projects
Follow instructions from senior electricians to complete assigned tasks within deadlines

Requirements

Proven experience working with electrical systems or relevant training in electrical installation and maintenance
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Previous electrical experience is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn on the job is important
Ability to read technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals is advantageous
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces if required
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
A valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
