Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organised Part-time Accountant and admin Assistant who knows how to use Xero accounting software. For 1 or 2 days a week at Diamond Home Improvements from 9am to 3pm to provide essential accounting support, as well as answering the telephone, and general admin help.

We are a small team and quiet office environment looking for an individual with good and polite communication skils who is organised and wants to help a small window company.

Duties

Xero Accounts
Handling any incoming calls and customets with professionalism
Inputting customer details and doing emails
Computer literate
Organising accounting files, maintaining records, and ensuring document confidentiality
Utilising Microsoft Outlook
Assisting with general administrative tasks such as photocopying,and filing,

Experience

Previous xero accounting experience is essential for this role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organisational skills
Good IT literacy to adapt quickly to various software applications
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail

Would suit someone retired looking for a couple of days or a mum or dad around school times or someone as a second job .

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.80-£13.00 per hour
