Full job description

Working as part of a small and busy team, you will be responsible for processing payrolls for a number of clients using Sage payroll software.

Processing payroll amendments including statutory payments
Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls
Processing all payroll calculations, including holiday pay, sickness pay, redundancy etc..
Dealing with any payroll queries
Processing pay slips
Processing starters, leavers and salary changes, alongside P45s
Administration of auto-enrolment requirements
Administration of benefits in kind via the payroll
Submission of monthly CIS returns

What you'll need to succeed

You will have at least two years’ experience in running a payroll, alongside possessing up to date payroll and pension legislation knowledge. The ability to respond to queries in a friendly and efficient manner will be key.

If taking this role on full time, this would also include some bookkeeping on software such as Xero and Sage Line 50.

Office opening hours are 9-5.30 Monday to Friday.

Pay: £15.50-£17.00 per hour
