Private Hire Taxi Driver – Happicabs

Full-time & Part-time Opportunities | Chelmsford, Maldon, Witham, South Woodham Ferrers, Braintree

About Us

Happicabs is one of the leading private hire taxi companies in Essex, operating across Chelmsford, Maldon, Witham, South Woodham Ferrers, and Braintree – with expansion plans for Wickford, Billericay, Brentwood, and Colchester in 2026.

We are looking for motivated Owner Drivers and Company Drivers to join our growing team.

Earnings & Benefits

Owner Drivers (Bring your own car or rent one of ours):

Rent a vehicle from just £230 per week or use your own.
Commission rates:
20% – Maldon, Witham, South Woodham Ferrers & Braintree
30% – Chelmsford
Full-time gross sales: £1,400 – £1,600 per week (deduct commission and car rental)
Part-time gross sales: £450 – £650 per week (deduct commission)
Guaranteed Full-Time Sales: Minimum £5,000 per month (gross).

Company Drivers (Happicabs vehicle):

Earn 50% of all sales generated.
