Developing embedded software in C/C++ for ARM-based microcontrollers.
-
Designing software for bare-metal and real-time operating systems, including FreeRTOS and Zephyr.
-
Bringing up new hardware and debugging prototype boards using oscilloscopes, logic analysers and software debugging tools.
-
Developing robust communications between embedded devices using interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, SPI, I²C, UART and RS422.
-
Designing networking functionality including TCP/IP, REST APIs, SNMP and OpenAPI interfaces.
-
Working closely with hardware, FPGA and systems engineers to integrate software with complex electronic systems.
-
Investigating and resolving software, networking and embedded system issues.
-
Contributing throughout the full product development lifecycle from concept through to manufacture.
