Love Making, Fixing and Building Things?
We’re looking for someone who gets genuine satisfaction from repairing equipment, solving problems and taking pride in producing quality workmanship.
As one of the UK’s leading corporate events companies, we own thousands of pieces of event equipment, games, props and bespoke products. We’re looking for a practical, hands-on person to help keep our equipment looking fantastic and performing flawlessly.
If you’re the sort of person who sees something broken and immediately starts thinking about how to fix or improve it, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
As our Warehouse Maintenance & Kit Repair Technician, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining and occasionally creating equipment used at hundreds of events throughout the UK.
Every day is different. One morning you could be repairing wooden team-building games, the next welding a metal frame, repainting props or helping build brand-new event equipment.
You’ll work closely with our warehouse team to ensure every piece of kit leaving our warehouse is safe, presentable and event-ready.
Key Responsibilities
· Inspect returned event equipment for damage and wear.
· Carry out repairs to wooden, metal and plastic equipment.
· Restore equipment to a high cosmetic and functional standard.
· Build and assemble new event games, props and bespoke equipment.
· Work with the Warehouse Team to prioritise urgent repairs.
· Carry out routine maintenance on event kit and warehouse equipment.
· Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance completed.
· Suggest improvements to increase durability and longevity of equipment.
· Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop.
· Support the wider warehouse team during busy periods when required.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
· Enjoys working with their hands and solving practical problems.
· Takes real pride in the quality of their workmanship.
· Has excellent attention to detail.
· Is creative and enjoys making or improving things.
· Can work independently and manage their own workload.
· Is reliable, proactive and self-motivated.
· Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team.
Bonus Skills (Not Essential)
We’re particularly interested in people with experience in one or more of the following:
· Woodworking or carpentry.
· Welding or metal fabrication.
· Painting and finishing.
· Mechanical repairs.
· General maintenance or fabrication.
· Joinery.
· DIY or workshop experience.
· Using power tools safely and confidently.
If you don’t tick every box but have a practical mindset and enjoy learning new skills, we’d still love to hear from you.
What We Offer
· Flexible working hours between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
· A varied role where no two days are the same.
· Opportunities to build and create new equipment.
· A supportive and friendly team.
· Ongoing training and development.
· Company social events.
· Free onsite parking.
· The opportunity to see your work used at exciting corporate events across the UK.
