Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced roofer to join our roofing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in roofing, with a comprehensive understanding of construction principles. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. The successful applicant will be responsible for executing roofing tasks efficiently while adhering to project specifications and safety regulations.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using a variety of materials and technique
Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and effectively
Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes
Maintain organisation of tools, materials, and work areas for efficiency and safety

Experience

Proven experience as a roofer or in a similar construction role with a focus on roofing project
Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety standards
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights on various types of roofs
Familiarity with construction site protocols and teamwork in fast-paced environments

Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the physical stamina required for demanding outdoor work.
