Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a vibrant and efficient kitchen environment. In this role, you will support the preparation and presentation of delicious meals, ensuring food safety standards are upheld while assisting with daily kitchen operations. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation by chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and cooks.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
Support food preparation tasks such as portioning ingredients, assembling dishes, and plating under supervision.
Help with food safety procedures by adhering to sanitation standards, proper storage practices, and temperature controls.
Assist in serving food to guests or staff when needed, ensuring timely and courteous service.
Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
Participate in cleaning schedules, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.

Skills

Previous experience in catering or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
Strong cooking skills with knowledge of meal preparation techniques.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a commercial kitchen.
Excellent attention to detail when handling food preparation tasks.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and following instructions accurately.
A proactive attitude towards learning new culinary skills and supporting team goals.
